Sola Deo Gloria (Glory to God Alone)

All of creation, salvation, and the Christian life exist ultimately for God’s glory. We are called to

live in a way that honors Him, recognizing that even our salvation is ordered toward His glory

and not our own (1 Corinthians 15:28).

A truly Christian theology must remain Goddominated. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit work in

perfect unity to redeem us, drawing us into worship of all three divine Persons (the Trinity) who

eternally exist as the one true God. We share fellowship with the Son in grace, with the Father

in love, and with the Holy Spirit in strength and comfort (2 Corinthians 13:14; Acts 9:31).

Because we possess nothing that we have not received from God (1 Corinthians 4:7), we do all

things in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him (Colossians 3:17).

We live by the Spirit and must surrender to the leading and control of with the Spirit (Galatians 5:25).

Since our lives are meant for God’s glory, then we must offer ourselves and all things to God’s

glory alone. Soli Deo Gloria—Glory to God Alone.
